 Suited & booted in 1940’s retro style royal blue suits, the Swingin’ Bluecats have brought the house down at many festivals and shows since their formation as a six piece in 2008. A year on and many shows later the band continues to go from strength to strength. Each number has been professionally arranged in a set which covers classics made famous by such legends as Louis Jordan, Louis Prima, Cab calloway, Jackie Wilson, Big Joe Turner, Bill Haley, Brian Setzer Orchestra etc. The band is firmly focused on delivering the finest in Jump, Jive & Swing. To date the band has played many prestigious events and venues such as The Guinness Jazz Festival, The Phoenix Festival, The Carlsberg Rhythm & Roots Festival, The Blackstairs Blues Festival, Wexford Grooves Festival, The Rockfall Festival, The Sugar Club, The Button Factory, The Can Can Casino, Taste Of Cork, Taste Of Dublin, Tramore Races, Boutique Burlesque, Moulin Rouge Christmas Show as well as numerous Black Tie events and Weddings.
